Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Risen Savior Catholic Church in Brandon. Visitation with the family present will take place from 2-4 p.m., with a Liturgical Wake Service followed by Rosary starting at 3:30 p.m., on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at George Boom Funeral Home-Brandon Valley Chapel in Brandon. Burial will take place at the South Dakota State Veterans Cemetery in Sioux Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Risen Savior Catholic Church in Brandon in Hugo’s name.

Visitation with the family present will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Summit Hill Cemetery in Garretson at a later date.
