Jon Cameron Eitreim, 55, of Sioux Falls passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018. Jon had the biggest heart but in the end his heart simply could not keep up. He loved hanging out with family and friends and working with the animals.
Grateful for having been a part of Jon’s life are his immediate family, Don and Marlene, Jeff and Pam, Randy, Loren, Ben, Tom and Kami, Dan, Samantha, Traci and Jon’s special friend, Pam. Jon probably is playing cards now with his mom, Susan and one of his best buddies, Todd (aka Cowman).

Mr. Nelson died Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Dow Rummel Village in Sioux Falls.

Funeral services for Darrell D. Ruhberg, 85, of Brandon, were held Tuesday, June 12 at Faith United Church, Brandon, with burial at Graceland Cemetery, Mitchell.
He died Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Sanford USD Medical Center, Sioux Falls.
He was born Sept. 1, 1932, in Mitchell to Hugo and Eloda (Walker) Ruhberg of Mt. Vernon. He grew up on the family farm and attended and graduated from a one-room schoolhouse. He met his wife, Patricia Thurman, when he was 16 while roller skating. They were married in 1951 and lived in Mitchell until moving to the Sioux Falls area in the late 1970s. They were long-time members of Faith United Church.

Asher had a very short but meaningful life. He was an amazing boy who overcame whatever was put in front of him. He taught us all again what the meaning of unconditional love is. He brought families together and stole everyone’s heart. Don’t be sad for him, because he had the perfect life - a life wrapped in love by his family and in the word of the Lord and blessed by the Lord. Asher also showed us how valuable our time is here on earth. Every second of every day needs to count and have purpose. Forgive and forget. Love and be loved.

Dan Lee Murphy, 70, Brandon, died Monday, May 7, 2018, as a result of a homicide while visiting friends in Baltimore, Md.
Visitation with family will be 5-7p.m., Friday, May 18 at Brandon Valley Assembly of God Church, with a time of sharing at 7 p.m. A Celebration of Dan’s Life will be 10 a.m., Saturday, May 19, at BV Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sioux Falls. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be given in Dan’s name to Brandon Valley Baptist Church.
Danny Lee Murphy was born June 5, 1947, in Winner. He attended Catholic school and then public high school where he graduated. He attended South Dakota State University to study teaching. He started teaching seventh-grade English at Brandon Valley in 1969, retiring in 2004 after 35 years. He also worked during his spare time and in the summer as a contractor building and remodeling many homes in the Brandon area.
