Mary Frances Stangeland, 70, of Pipestone, Minn., died Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the Pipestone County Hospice House. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Christ the King Free Lutheran Church in Pipestone. Interment was in the Ihlen Cemetery in Ihlen, Minn.

She is survived by her husband, Jon; children, Bradly Eric Stangeland of Grafton, N.D., and Jennifer Lynn (Jared Goebel) Stangeland of Hartford; siblings, Herbert H. Schneider of Minneapolis, Minn., Daniel Schneider of St. Cloud, Minn., Charles Schneider of Brandon, JoAnn Stangeland of Ihlen, Minn., David Schneider of St. Cloud, Michel Schneider of Avon, Sharon Fruck of Monument, Colo., and Susan Thoreson of Oak Grove, Minn.; grandchildren, Hailey Goebel, Arayah Goebel, Austyn Stangeland, and Brooklynn Stangeland.
