Richard “Rich” Curtis Lien, 81, of Sioux Falls, died Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Avera McKennan Hospital  in Sioux Falls. Memorial services were held Tuesday, July 28, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls. Interment was in the Hills of Rest Cemetery, Sioux Falls. 

He is survived by his son, Ryan (Christa) Lien, of Sioux Falls; brother, Michael (Joan) Lien, of Sioux Falls; sisters-in-law, Kathy Frank of Canton, Cindy Sorenson of Watertown, Bonnie Lien of Brandon, and Kina (Richard) Ronke, of Sioux Falls; special friends, the Bevers family; and many other relatives and friends.
