Marcia M. Bonte, 75, of Garretson, died Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center in Hawarden, Iowa. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Garretson. Interment will be at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Garretson at a later date.

She is survived by her sons, Tucker (Deanna) Bonte of Garretson and Luke (Deidra) Bonte of Sherman; grandchildren, Cody (Ellie) Bonte, Rochester Hills, Mich., and their son, Drew, Kailyn (Nick) Schirado, Harrisburg, Brock Bonte, Garretson, Clayton (Kara) Bonte, Smithfield, Va., Maren Bonte, Nora Bonte, Bence Bonte, all of Sherman, Caitlin Johnson, Lexington, N.C., and Dustin Haas, Harrisburg; brothers, Dale Peterson and Dean (Jeannie) Peterson, all of Garretson; many nieces, nephews; and Darrel’s siblings, Dave (Deb) Bonte, Ken Bonte, Steve (Karen) Bonte, and Rene (Rick) Vandersnick.
