Chamber Chat: Chamber has full slate of events happening
The Brandon Valley Area Chamber of Commerce has a lot happening, and one of the most talked-about events right now is our Burger Battle. This fun and flavorful competition celebrates some of our area restaurants while inviting the community to bite, vote, and repeat!
This year’s Burger Battle participants are serving up some incredible creations, including:
• 212 The Boiling Point with the Berry Hot Bacon Burger,
• Annie’s Coffeehouse and the Angry Beaver,
• Bottoms Up featuring the Philly Brawler,
• CHUDS Pub & Grill with the Umami K-BBQ Slawsome Burger,
• Red Rock Bar & Grill serving the Maui Waui Burger, and
• The Gruff Plates & Pours with the New School Bacon Bomb.
We encourage everyone to support these businesses, enjoy every bite and don’t forget to vote!
In addition to the Burger Battle, we have several upcoming events we hope you’ll join us for. Our On the Menu event is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 27, featuring Brandon Police Chief Jamie Steffel. We’ll also host the District 2 Legislative Coffee on Saturday, January 31, from 9:30-11 a.m. at the Sioux Valley Energy Brandon Training Center, providing an opportunity for residents to connect with local legislators.
Looking ahead, registration is now open for Brandon Day at the Legislature in Pierre on Feb. 4. Join us for a unique opportunity to experience South Dakota’s legislative process firsthand and represent our Brandon community at the State Capitol.
Be sure to watch for Chamber ads in the Brandon Valley Journal and follow the Brandon Valley Area Chamber of Commerce on Facebook for updates, event details, and more ways to stay involved. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events!
