NOMINATING PETITIONS FOR BRANDON TOWNSHIP
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to SDCL 8-3-1.3, the elected positions of Treasurer, Clerk, and one seat on the Board of Supervisors will be voted upon at the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Electors of Brandon Township in Minnehaha County, South Dakota. Nominating Petitions may be obtained from the Brandon Township website at www.brandontownshipsd.com. A nominating petition must be circulated no sooner than 45 days prior to the annual meeting, or, no sooner than Saturday, January 16, 2021 and must contain the signatures of at least ten qualified electors of the Township as required by SDCL 8-3-1.2, and must be completed and filed with Elizabeth Aaker, Township Clerk, 2215 E Redwood Blvd, Brandon, SD 57005, no later than 5 o’clock p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2021. The Annual Meeting will be Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 7:00 o’clock p.m. at the Brandon Township Hall located at 25993 482nd Ave Corson, SD 57005.
