Pursuant to SDCL 31-3, notice is given that on January 21, 2020 the Split Rock Township Board of Supervisors, Minnehaha County, South Dakota approved a Resolution to vacate that portion of South Overlund Pass beginning at a point 100 feet south of the north property line of Lot 21 In block 2 of Split Rock Heights 3rd Addition and extending to said north property line of Lot 21 in Block 2 and extending 66 feet west to a point abutting Lot 22A in Block 5 of Split Rock Heights 2nd Addition; all in Section 19, Township 101 North, Range 48 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, Minnehaha County, South Dakota also described as South Overlund Pass beginning at the northwestcorner of Lot 21 in Block 2 of Split Rock Heights Third Addition and extending 100 feet south along the west property line of Lot 21 in Block 2 and then extending 66 feet west to the intersection with Lot 22A in Block 5 of Split Rock Heights 2nd Addition, then extending northwesterly 85.08 feet, and then east 66 feet to the point of beginning, all in Section 19, Township 101 North, Range 48 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, Minnehaha County, South Dakota upon the approval of the City of Sioux Falls Pursuant to SDCL31-3-44; with a certified copy of this Resolution and the City’s record of action being recorded with the Minnehaha County Register of Deeds pursuant to SDCL 31-3-11, and following the lapse of thirty days from the date of this Order then the following highway shall be vacated and the Minnehaha County Auditor shall make those changes necessary to the map maintained by the Auditor to reflect the vacation, unless an appeal proceeding is initiated as provided in SDCL ch 31-3.

Notice of Meeting of Local Equalization Board SDCL 10-11-13 for  Split Rock Township.

Notice is hereby given that the governing body, sitting as a Review Board of Equalizationfor Split Rock Township, Minnehaha County, SD will meet at the Split Rock Volunteer Fire Department at 7201 E Arrowhead Parkway, Sioux Falls, SD  57110 in said taxing jurisdiction on the 16th day of March, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of reviewing and correcting the assessment of said  taxing district for the year 2020.

All persons considering themselves aggrieved by said assessment, are required to notify the clerk of the local board by written notice no later than March 12, 2020 of their intention to appeal their assessment.
