Minnehaha County Highway Department requests formal bids for “MC18-10 | Structure 50-198-085 Replacement & Structure 50-245-050 Replacement.”

Structure 50-198-085:

This project consists of but is not limited to the demolition of an existing bridge, installation of a 2 cell 9’x7’ cast-in-place reinforced concrete box culvert, drainage fabric and riprap installation, approach grading, erosion control devices, and hydroseeding. The project is located 2.5 miles south of Baltic, SD on Norway Street.

Structure 50-245-050:

This project consists of but is not limited to the demolition of an existing bridge, installation of a 2 cell 10’x6’ cast-in-place reinforced concrete box culvert, drainage fabric and riprap installation, approach grading, erosion control devices, and hydroseeding. The project is located 4.5 miles east and 1 mile north of Baltic, SD on 249th Street.

Sealed bids shall be received by Minnehaha County Auditor’s Office, 415 N Dakota Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD 57104, not later than 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2019. Bids shall be publicly opened and read at the Auditor’s Office at 10:30am.

Specifications and proposal forms that must be used are available at Minnehaha County Highway Department located at 2124 E 60th Street North, Sioux Falls, SD 57103. Bids submitted on forms other than the proposal supplied by the Minnehaha County Highway Department will be irregular and will not be considered.

Minnehaha County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and make award(s) as deemed to be in the best interest of the county.
