The Lynx cross country program is definitely a family-affair. This year alone, six families, including the Wentzy sisters, have more than one sibling on the Brandon Valley roster. Several of the BV runners are following in their parent’s footsteps or those of an uncle, an aunt or ran alongside a sibling.Here’s a look at this year’s family connections:• Kocer - Danica, senior, Luke, sophomore• Elkin – Colter, junior, Britton, sophomore and Saddler, seventh grade• Groen – Dustin, sophomore, Tyler, eighth grade• Roberts – Tate, freshman, Rylan, seventh grade• Pickering – Megan, a junior, her father, Tom, is a BV cross country alum• TeKrony – Mackenzie, eighth grade, her father, Kevin, is a BV cross country alum• Coughlin – Camden, seventh grade, his dad, Daemon, uncles Devin and Daniel, and aunt, Dru, are all BV cross country alums• Schneider – Brian, freshman, his dad, Nick, and uncles, Andrew and Casey, are all BVHS cross country alums• Wells – Lauren, senior.
