When will South Dakotans say, ‘Enough is enough?’

When will South Dakotans say, “Enough is enough?” How can our Governor, 1.) Summon a state employee to the Governor’s mansion where she is confronted by the Governor, the Governor’s attorneys, the secretary of the agency she works for, and the Governor’s daughter who was denied a license by that employee, and then ultimately be forced to resign; 2.) Refuse to disclose who has been allowed to use the state’s airplane; 3.) Order the treasurer to send out millions of dollars without having the required authorization of the Legislature; 4.) Join forces with Sen. Lee Schoenbeck and other political operatives to defeat legislators who happen to disagree with her personal agenda; 5.) Interfere with ongoing investigations; 6.) Not demand criminal accountability for her largest donor; and, so on and so on ...?  Why are we not seeing South Dakota politicians, including the Governor, held accountable? We hear about members of the Senate getting drunk and other members colluding to cover it up, but nothing happens, not even losing an election.  

The actions described above constitute impeachable offenses by the Governor for malfeasance, criminal interference with the Legislative process by two state senators, criminal violation of the oath of office by Legislators who pretended to conduct a ‘disciplinary proceeding’, and the deceit of the public by several members of the South Dakota Senate. Have the citizens of South Dakota grown so weary of political drama at the national level that they expect it here at home?

The time is now to know exactly who you are voting for and who should be representing you. Please review the voting records of those who have already served and find out all you can about those who are running for the first time. Please vote for those who have retained their integrity.
