Supe's On: BV Staff, Students to Enjoy Winter Break

As the holiday season approaches, we can reflect on the opportunities and challenges 2025 has provided. Through all the successes and difficulties, there is much to be proud of and thankful for as we reflect on this past year, but there is always work to be done as we continually strive for growth and improvement within our schools. The Winter Break begins with a two-hour early dismissal on Tuesday, Dec. 23 and classes resume Monday, Jan. 5, 2026.

With 2026 on the horizon, for some families it is time to start thinking about sending a child to Kindergarten or Junior Kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year. Our elementary school buildings will host Kindergarten Screening in the coming months for the next school year. If you have a child that will be age eligible and entering Kindergarten next year, we strongly encourage your participation in Kindergarten Screening. If you have questions on Kindergarten Screening, feel free to reach out to any of our elementary buildings.
