The Split Rock Township Board of Supervisors requests formal bids for 84” CMP Culvert Improvements on N. Oak Road approximately +/-1/8 mile North of E. Maple Street, Split Rock Township, Minnehaha County, SD. This bid proposal indicates the estimated quantities of work that will be constructed with this project. 

Sealed bids shall be received in the office of WILLADSEN LUND ENGINEERING 902 S. Cleveland Avenue, Sioux Falls, South Dakota 57103 not later than 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday June 17, 2020. 

Plans, Specifications, and Bid Forms that must be used are available to be picked up at no charge from:

There is a $50.00 pre-paid fee required for plans requested to be sent by mail or private courier. 

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and make award(s) as deemed to be in the best interest of the Split Rock Township. 

The project generally consists of the following scope of work: 

•  Traffic control & erosion control devices

•  Clearing & Grubbing at the ends of the culvert

•  Joint repair on the 84” CMP Culvert

•  Construction of a PCC Flowline in the existing culvert

•  Placement of riprap on drainage fabric

•  Surface restoration on disturbed areas of turf

The project schedule is to proceed with the construction of the culvert repairs to take place in an 3-5 week time frame tentatively scheduled between August 10th & September 26th 2020. The exact project schedule and completion is open for negotiation with the Split Rock Township and the Engineer.

Published twice at the approximate cost of $34.38.
