Northern State University will celebrate the accomplishments of its graduates at Winter Commencement, set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, in the Johnson Fine Arts Center.

Among the graduates are two students from Brandon, Abigail Huska, graduating Summa Cum Laud with a Bachelor of Science Ed Elementary Education/Special Education degree, and Melissa Jacobson, graduating Magna Cum Laude, also with a B.S. Ed degree in Elementary Education/Special Education.
The ceremony is open to the public, and no tickets are required. Doors will open at least one hour before the event.
For those unable to attend in person, the event will be streamed live via multiple platforms. The ceremony will be livestreamed through the NSU Facebook page, and broadcast locally on Midco channel 12 and NVC Channel 12. The broadcast will also be available channel 588 on Midco.
Live captioning will be provided on screen at the venue, as well as online through Facebook and the graduation webpage.
