Local students named to USF Dean’s List
More than 600 University of Sioux Falls students qualified for the Fall 2023 Dean’s List. To qualify, students must be enrolled in at least 12 semester hours and earn a term GPA of 3.5 or greater on a 4.0 scale.
The following local students recognized include: Brandon – Talix Babb, English-Language, Literature & Culture and Art; Emma DeWitt, English–writing and art; Ellie Erickson, Criminal Justice; Nichole Fletcher, Health Administration; Jacob Johnke, Criminal Justice; Julia Kreutner, Exercise Science and Psychology; QWhitney Schlagel, Pre-Nursing; Shane Thompson, Business Administration; Garretson – Jayden Clark, Criminal Justice and Psychology; Heidi Peterson, Nursing; Sioux Falls – Mara Nelson, Business Administration and Media Studies; Ryan Presler, Undeclared.
Brandon students are Mitchell Tech Ambassadors
Mitchell Technical College has released its 2023-24 Student Ambassador list.
This year’s team of 60 Student Ambassadors were chosen by their instructors to represent their programs and Mitchell Tech, provide tours and answer questions at various events, including Tech Camps and Exploration Days. Selection to the Student Ambassador program is determined by academic achievement, communication skills and program knowledge.
Brandon students that are Mitchell Tech’s 2023-224 Student Ambassadors are: Agricultural Technologies – Ag Business, Agronomy, Animal Science: Henry Wright; Architectural Design and Building Construction: Dominic Tucker; and Medical Assistant: Dane Romsdahl.
