Check out the fun and educational programs offered at the Brandon Community Library:
Snow Science Fun For ages 4-plus and their caregivers (while supplies lasts) from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday Jan. 24. At this event, youngsters will explore how science and winter collide with investigating, creating and building fun.
Books and Badges for birth-5 years old and their caregivers is planned from 10-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27.
Siouxland Libraries is partnering with the Brandon Police Department for this special storytime. Children will enjoy a story read by a local hero and take part in fun crafts or other interactive activities.
Tail Waggin’ Tutors is for children in grades K-5. It is offered the first Saturday of the month from 10-11 a.m. February through May.
This program is an avenue to boost a child’s reading skills. Book a 15-minute reading session with a certified therapy dog. Registration is required. To learn more, call 605-582-2390.
