Broadway Avenue in Valley Springs was decorated last week with 14 local hero veteran banners, which was a cooperative effort of Charles R. Doman American Legion Post and the Ed Polzine Fund. Ryan Nussbaum, public works operator, was tasked with hanging the banners. Local hero banners will be available for sale once again next spring for both Valley Springs and Brandon.
