Going out in a blaze of glory

After 12 years the Brandon Blaze has played its final tournament together. The 18-under team traveled to Watertown, Wis., for the ASA/USA Northern B Nationals and came away with fourth place. In bracket play, the Blaze defeated Gretna Storm 8-7, lost to Falls Angels 12-3, from Menomonee Falls, Wis., defeated Rawlings Tigers (IL) 4-1, Fairbury, Neb., 7-2, Marshfield, Wis., 8-2, and lost to Falls Angels again, 2-1, to end their quest for the title.
