Connie Bliek, 72

Connie Kay Bliek, died June 8, 2026, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, surrounded by her family. Visitation was held Friday, June 12, 2026, at the George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls.

Connie was born on March 3, 1954, in Valley Springs to Willard and Darlene (Hocke) Kuhnert. She attended Brandon Valley Public Schools and graduated from Brandon Valley High School in 1972.

Connie is survived by her husband, Larry; two children, Michael (Lindsay) Bliek of Larchwood, Iowa, and Nicholas (Greta) Bliek of Eagan, Minn; and three grandchildren, Tristan Bliek, Marit Bliek, and Ezra Bliek; her mother, Darlene Kuhnert; sister ,Carol Skiles; brother, Arlen Kuhnert, sisters-in-law, Donna (Ron) Bos, Connie (Joel) Pollema, Cheryl (Russ) Borchart; brother-in-law Harlan (Shari) Bliek;  and many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
