SPECIAL SESSION
MAY 17, 2021
The Commissioners of the City of Valley Springs met in special session on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 6:00 PM in the Valley Springs City Hall to interview Finance Officer applicants. Mayor Carl Moss presided. Answering roll call were Commissioners Brian Staeffler, Dean Helgeson, Lynn Schmidt and Sandy Severtson. Finance Officer Linda Hunnel was not present.
Motion by Helgeson to go into Executive Session at 6:05 PM to discuss the following: SDCL 1-25-2 (1) Personnel SDCL 1-25-2 Discussing the qualifications, competence, performance, character or fitness of any public officer or employee or prospective public officer or employee.
The meeting was called back to order at 7:00 PM. No action was taken.
There being no further business before the commission, Helgeson voted to adjourn at 7:00 PM. Second by Schmidt. Motion carried, all voting aye.
The next regular meeting of the Valley Springs City Commission will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in the VS American Legion, 615 Broadway.
