Brandon Lions Club showed their appreciation to 56 first through fourth grade Brandon Valley educators during Monday’s teacher in-service day. Because teachers oftentimes spend their own money for classroom decor and other learning tools, the Lions presented each of the educators with a $25 VISA gift card to help defray those costs. The gift cards were made possible through the Lions’ aluminum recycling efforts and recently cashed in 11 tons of aluminum.
