Bonita Edwards, 77

Bonita Allene Edwards, 77, of Rapid City, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026, in Rapid City, from pancreatic cancer. 

A memorial service was held Monday, Aug. 31 at First Congregational Church UCC, , Rapid City. Private inurnment will occur at a later date.

She grew up in Rowena and graduated from Brandon Valley High School in 1967.

She survived by her husband, Jack Marshall Edwards; daughter, Julie Marie Edwards (Scot Singpiel), Salt Lake City, Utah; son, Scott Marshall Edwards (SO Cathy Wilson), Rapid City; her grandson, Jackson Edwards, Rapid City; sister, Ruth Marie Schemmel, Rapid City; brother-in-law, Douglas Edwards, Deerfield; and many other relatives and friends.
