A big smile for Old Glory

The Ed Polzine Wild Game Feed Fund carried out their 41st annual Game Feed and Auction on Saturday at the Brandon VFW. One of the items up for auction was the U.S. American flag that Brandon resident Sandy Wagner made from shotgun bullets and added bling. Wagner donated the artwork to the cause, which was purchased by Dave Kull, a District 2 Legislator. Kull shared that the flag was headed to Pierre with him for the fifth week of the 101st Legislative Session. Hoisting the artwork is Amanda Ode, who was one of the first recipients of a cash donation from the Wild Game Feed. Over the last year, the Ed Polzine Wild Game Feed Fund has gifted children, adults and other worthy causes more than $32,000, which was raised from one of two events the group carries out each year: The Wild Game Feed, which always held the night before Super Bowl, and their 30 Guns in 30 Minutes raffle, conducted each fall
