Austin Brown, 21

Austin Ryan Brown, 21, of Luverne, Minn., formerly of Brandon, passed away from a rare childhood cancer on Friday, July 24, 2026 surrounded by his family at the Sanford Luverne Hospice Cottage. 

His Celebration of Life is planned for 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 14, 2026 at the American Reformed Church in Luverne. Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, also at the church.

Austin is survived by his parents, Adam and Julie Brown of Cloquet, Minn.; sister, Marielle Brown of Cloquet; grandparents, Merlin and Deb Wynia of Luverne; great-grandmother, Darlene VanRoekel and many other family and friends.
